Diplomasy of Hajj

Abstract: Hajj, as one of the religious manifestations and Islamic rites, which contains various elements of worship and religious behavior in the individual and social dimension, due to its different characteristics from other religious rituals, in addition to having multiple dimensions, has a range of influence. It is also a broad undertaking. This scope includes human interaction to economic dynamism and social organization, political interactions and so on. Therefore, Hajj should be considered as the embodiment of many other religious and Islamic actions and manifestations. The enormous capacity of this conference and congress The religion that is formed every year with the participation of different classes and representatives of different races and nationalities as a part of the big Islamic family, has two internal and external dimensions and many works that can serve the progress and elevation of the Islamic Ummah. The side of Hajj provides many opportunities to exploit the diplomacy of Hajj in the direction of prosperity and progress of Muslims. However, ignoring many of these opportunities or downgrading the goals of this great conference can lead to a threat such as being caught in the shell of religious action. In this article, we intend to analyze Hajj diplomacy by focusing on the opportunities and challenges related to it from the three fields of science, media and society.
